Painters of the early 20th century could easily be considered the first influencers. When photography was in it’s infancy, graphic design still years away and AI existed only in futuristic stories, companies would frequently commission artists to paint specific scenarios to help sell their products, AO being no different.

In a series of public awareness campaigns, artists and painters were commissioned by American Optical, exclusively for making the public aware of the latest vision technologies. Our original, AO-Exclusive paintings, are now available for digital download.
